City and County of Broomfield (CCOB) Participation
CCOB staff - Met with concerned homeowners to provide information and answer concerns. CCOB does not have the funds to provide an immediate solution. Should the property become abandoned or property of the CCOB, staff estimated it would take a number of years (5-8) to determine viable use options, budget funds and execute plans
CCOB staff - Extremely helpful in providing information, documentation and guidance during the research phase and continue to be a willing participant in the process
The CCOB- Recognizes the need for water and has been researching options to source water to maintain irrigation, lakes and ponds. Active negotiations to purchase the Clear Creek rights and the easement to Nissen Reservoir to allow continue to use of Nissen Reservoir for stormwater.
CCOB Council Members - Council Members from Ward 3 & 4 have been actively engaged with the taskforce. They have provided invaluable input, guidance and continue to be engaged contributors at every meeting
