Charitable Deductions: As non profit the Eagle Trace CDC can accept and hold donations of cash, real estate or any transferable asset and provide a charitable tax deductible receipt to contributors.   The  CDC was initially established for the expressed purpose of of of holding the Eagle Trace Golf Course property should the current owner of the golf course elect to donate it. 

Ownership:  If the CDC obtains ownership of Eagle Trace Golf Course and associated assets, the organization can have significant influence over the structure of future ownership, use and operation.    

Oversite:  The CDC will act as a management group to represent community desires with all stakeholders as long as required
